Picture #63

A very nice head on a young bitch. Shows the chrysanthemum shape from the front and head hair does not look overly teased. Shows a large nose, good width between eyes and ears. Pigment on ears could be darker.

Certainly an entirely different look, partially due to the grooming on both images of this dog. Though very eye catching the dog is starting to look squarish, and appears to have a short upper arm. He is beautifully groomed with a nicely set on tail. The photo on the left is the original, and the hair built up over the neck makes the back look very short, and out of proportion for the height of the dog. On the photo on the right the only change is that some of the hair has been removed from the neck area and this definitely changes the illusion of proportions.

Picture #65

The photo on the left is the original photo of a basically correct dog. In the photo on the right a small amount of hair was added to the back of the neck and at the withers. The change was made simply to show again how grooming changes what your eye might interpret as structure.
